Our registered company number is 89054342 (''KVK'' or ''Kamer van Koophandel''), with our registered office located at Graaf Florislaan 1, Bussum, The Netherlands. Your agreement with GreenWay FWRD is governed by these terms and conditions (“Terms and Conditions”), which encompass the use of our BetterWay.travel website and all associated information services (“the Services”). These Terms and Conditions represent the entire agreement between us and you, superseding any prior communications. Please review these terms carefully, noting the restrictions and limitations on our liability. If you do not fully agree with these terms and conditions, refrain from using the Services.

Liability Disclaimer

We strive to ensure accuracy in the times and fares provided; however, we rely on a third-party rail information provider for this data, and errors may occur. We commit to rectifying any errors on our part promptly and refunding affected tickets. While we make every effort to maintain accurate information on our website, it is sourced from third parties and may be incomplete, inaccurate, or outdated. We exercise due care and skill in providing our Services but do not warrant their suitability for any particular purpose. We disclaim liability for any reliance on information supplied by us, except in cases of negligence. Our liability for any loss resulting from your use of our Services is limited to the total value of the transaction giving rise to the claim. To the extent permitted by law, we disclaim liability for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential losses arising from the use of our Services. These terms do not affect your statutory rights as a consumer.

Fraud

We take fraud seriously and require users to book tickets only for themselves or individuals they are authorised to represent. By using a credit or debit card, you confirm your legal authority and accuracy of provided information. We reserve the right to withhold Services if fraud is suspected.

Conditions of Carrier

Purchasing a rail ticket through our website subjects you to both these Terms and Conditions and the Conditions of Carrier of NS International, DB Bahn, SNCF, or other rail providers. These conditions outline your rights and any restrictions regarding your journey. While we facilitate ticket delivery, the train companies are responsible for service provision. Additional conditions or restrictions may apply to specific tickets, and it is your responsibility to be aware of these.

Ticket Issuance

Ticket prices and availability are confirmed upon completing your order. We send booking confirmations via email and deliver tickets as selected during booking. Prices are quoted in your preferred currency, and we are not liable for exchange rate fluctuations. While we strive to meet ticket delivery timeframes, we cannot guarantee specific delivery times. Please inspect received tickets promptly and contact support if discrepancies arise.

Changes, Cancellations, and Refunds

Ticket cancellation, refund, or amendment eligibility varies by ticket type, with rules set by train companies. Changes must be made before the original departure time, with new bookings at least six working days in advance. We aim to process refunds promptly, typically within 4 to 8 weeks, to the original payment method. Unused tickets may be requested for return at your expense. We reserve the right to deny processing applications if fraud is suspected. Booking fees are non-refundable, and refunds for tickets purchased using e-vouchers are issued as loyalty points. Ticket names cannot be changed after booking.

Handling Fees for Cancellations:

  • Booking below €150: €15 handling fee
  • Booking €150-250: €25 handling fee
  • Booking €250-350: €35 handling fee
  • Booking €350-750: €50 handling fee
  • Booking €750+: €75 handling fee

Accommodation Booking Conditions

We provide the platform on which partners can promote and sell their hotels, and on which you can search, compare and book hotels. We provide a personalised experience based on how you use BetterWay (including what you tell us), so you can book your ideal train trip including accommodation with us.

Once you have booked your entire train trip including a hotel, we will confirm the details of your booking to both you and the hotel, including the names of the guest(s).

Depending on the terms and conditions, you may be able to change or cancel your hotel booking if you wish. Conditions to change or cancel a hotel are separate from the conditions of your train ticket. Please contact us via the Help Center (available 24 hours a day) if you need help with anything.

Your obligations

  • Please fill in all your contact details correctly so that we and/or the service provider can provide you with information about your booking and, if necessary, contact you.
  • Please read these terms and conditions and those displayed during the booking process carefully.
  • Be aware of the cancellation policy of your hotel booking. These are indicated on the hotel page per selected room, and described on the confirmation page and the confirmation email.
  • By accepting our terms and conditions, you indicate that you agree with them and are held accountable for the terms and conditions stated in the policy for the hotel booking.

Other Matters

We reserve the right to amend these Terms and Conditions, with changes not affecting prior reservations. These terms are effective from February 1st, 2024. These Terms and Conditions, along with any notices on our website, are governed by Dutch Law, with exclusive jurisdiction of Dutch courts. Should any part of these terms be deemed invalid, illegal, or unenforceable, it will be severed without affecting the remaining provisions.
